Couverture chocolate contains extra cocoa butter, which gives it a smoother texture, a glossy appearance when tempered, & better melting properties than regular chocolate. It has a superior mouthfeel, containing a minimum of 30% cocoa butter.
1LB & 5LB bags are packed in heat-sealed gas-impermeable zipper bags, & the 25LB case is packaged in the original Guittard Chocolate box. Product will remain shelf-stable for 9-16 months after purchase (with ideal storage conditions: 55-65 degrees with stable humidity, away from sunlight & aromatics)
